Air Fryer Boiled Eggs

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Set your air fryer to 270°F (130°C). Some models may need 275°F (135°C) depending on accuracy.
  2. Add the Eggs
    • Place eggs directly in the basket (no foil, no oil).
    • Make sure they’re not stacked—air should circulate around them.
  3. Cook Time (choose doneness):
    • Soft-boiled (runny yolk): 9–10 minutes
    • Medium-boiled (slightly jammy yolk): 11–12 minutes
    • Hard-boiled (fully set yolk): 13–15 minutes
  4. Cool the Eggs
    • Immediately transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water for at least 5 minutes.
    • This stops cooking and makes peeling much easier.
  5. Peel & Enjoy
    • Crack the shell gently and peel. Season with salt and pepper or use them in salads, ramen, or meal prep.

  • Older eggs peel easier than very fresh eggs.
  • Don’t skip the ice bath—it prevents gray yolks and overcooking.
