- Preheat the Air Fryer
- Set your air fryer to 270°F (130°C). Some models may need 275°F (135°C) depending on accuracy.
- Add the Eggs
- Place eggs directly in the basket (no foil, no oil).
- Make sure they’re not stacked—air should circulate around them.
- Cook Time (choose doneness):
- Soft-boiled (runny yolk): 9–10 minutes
- Medium-boiled (slightly jammy yolk): 11–12 minutes
- Hard-boiled (fully set yolk): 13–15 minutes
- Cool the Eggs
- Immediately transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water for at least 5 minutes.
- This stops cooking and makes peeling much easier.
- Peel & Enjoy
- Crack the shell gently and peel. Season with salt and pepper or use them in salads, ramen, or meal prep.
Tips & Tricks
- Older eggs peel easier than very fresh eggs.
- Don’t skip the ice bath—it prevents gray yolks and overcooking.
- Batch cooking: You can make several at once (great for meal prep).
- Serving ideas: Sprinkle with smoked paprika, everything bagel seasoning, or slice over avocado toast.
In just 15 minutes total, you’ll have perfectly cooked eggs, no boiling pot in sight!
