Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients

For the Dough (makes 1 large 12–14″ pizza)

  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¾ cup warm water (105–110°F / 40–43°C)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (plus more for dusting)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (plus more for bowl)

For the Toppings

  • ½ cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–25 slices pepperoni
  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
